15 days till Truck Day!(but who’s counting)
Not much to write about, really boring time of year for Baseball!
Just of few pictures of some guys I really miss alot!

Don’t think he’s smiling today

Maybe it’s just that it’s grey and cold out. I found this picture (thank you Kelly O Conner) and it made me very sad. Election was yesterday and the State of Massachusetts put a Republician in Teddy’s seat. Well we can just hope that after two years and not too much damage the State will smarten up.
I just don’t know if I can afford to wait two years.
The Sox signed Jonathan Paplebon yesterday. That’s a good thing!
23 more days till truck day………….

Hodgepodge 2010
Sox signed Oki to a one year deal, let’s hope he has a better year than last.
Papelbon is willing to take his chances with an arbitrator, and the Red Sox don’t appear to be in any rush to sign him to a long-term extension. Jonathan is still young, I don’t think he is the kind of pitcher you let get away.
Of course the Sox never seem to do anything the easy way.

I love this picture of Paplebon, it so depicts his personality!

There is plenty of time to do it right, Arbritration hearings are not held until the first two weeks in February.
I have to keep posting pictures of Mike Lowell while he is still with the team.
24 days until Truck Day! 30 days until Pitchers and Catchers report! It’s almost Spring!
I try to blog at least 4 days a week, sometimes that’s not possible. In December I seem to have a bit more time and posted quite a bit. I was hoping to make Marks top 50 for the month of December, but he didn’t post a December list, just a list for the year. Oh well, maybe next month.

All dressed up with no where to go
Joe Maddon didn’t use either of our starters.
Yeah, I’d like to have pitched, but it’s an experience I’ll remember for the rest of my life,” he said. “I’ll cherish it forever. It’s just awesome being in this clubhouse with the greatest players in the world and being able to partake in my first All-Star Game at 42 years old. (Tim Wakefield being quoted in the Boston Herald)

At least Jay Bay, Youk and Paplebon got to play. And they did us proud!!
