I Hate Road Trips

I know we won yesterday, but what about the rest of this road trip : (

And I really hate the game times.

Anyone that knows me knows I'm not a huge fan of Jon Lester, but my heart goes out to him and his family.  I have a similar circumstance going on in my family. (father and son being diagnosed with the same cancer)  It's very difficult to understand. My prayers are with the family

Boston Red Sox' Jon Lester works against the Oakland Athletics during the first inning of a baseball game Sunday, May 25, 2008, in Oakland, Calif.

Nice long weekend. On Friday we put flags on the Veterans graves in the local cemetery, and Saturday we march with my Granddaughters Brownie Troup.  (my legs are still hurting)

Didn't see much baseball this weekend, just Saturday, but the way the games went I guess it was better I didn't watch.  I know this is a long road trip but I wish they were at least on the east coast.

Hey, don't be hatin' on Jon! ;)

I look forward to the day when I can look past a lot of his 'stuff'. Someday that will happen, right?

Friday through Monday I think I've seen a total of about 5 innings of Red Sox baseball (out of a possible 36!). I'm so glad I got to take in the PawSox game yesterday. West coast road trips kill me too!

We'll be getting Beckett, Lester and (I believe) Colon when I go to Baltimore. So I'm looking forward to THAT!

You all did great on Saturday!!!

Hate is too strong a word, I just don't love him like say oh...Mike Lowell, Tim Wakefield you know.

Think I have shin splints. Think I should have stretched a bit before Marching, oh well, live and learn! : )

Yeah, he's a tough kid to 'hate' even well, with you know.

Shin splints suck. Hey, I'm wearing the crappy sneakers today and my feet don't hurt!!! Yay, flat feet!

My heart also goes out to Jon Lester and his family
