BIG PAPI IS BACK!

Great weekend series against Texas, of course that is because we won three out of four games! (With one more to go this morning!)

The highlight of yesterday's game for me was Papi running down to first and beating the throw.

Then coming home on a double by Pedroia!

From that point on it was nothing but good!David Ortiz yelled after scoring the game-tying run on a triple by teammate Dustin Pedroia during the eighth inning.David Ortiz congratulated Dustin Pedroia after Pedroia scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning.

Sour point of yesterday's game:  Manny getting tossed out for yelling at the umpire.  What's up with Manny, thats two games where he argued with the ump?   Not really his style.  Manny's always been kind of quiet. 

I love the new Manny, but, let's keep it down to a whisper.  We don't want you thrown out of any more games.

Today is Patriots Day in Boston, and an afternoon game at Fenway.  It's Texas again, with Buchholz on the mound.

Hopefully I'll be home early enough to see some of the game.

Love Papi coming out of his slump. Beating out the throw to first was a surprise, scoring on Pedroya's double was just a sight to behold. Glad he didn't slide in to home plate. I would have felt the tremors here!

I'm counting the days (35 as of today!). The weekend series in Baltimore and one game at Fenway. If you're around and can get to somewhere like An Tua Nua, I'd love to buy you a drink.

Adam's doing well and has been out of hospital for more than a month. If he can stay stable on his new medication I hope to bring him out here for a vacation.

I get the same complaint from everyone. There is a delay in posting comments, I'm not sure why, except that it is email to me before it's posted.

So glad to hear the good news about Adam. Prayers he keeps it up.

I know a certain Chick that would love to be at An Tua Nua with this Old Hen. But thanks for the offer.
