Dice K apologized for his game yesterday. No need, we won!  We all knew the nerves would probably get to him.  Playing the opener in Japan.  That's okay.  After the first inning he started to work out the kinks.  It's a long season and by the way did I mention, we won!

That would be Red Sox Chick and Kelly at Game On very early yesterday morning, enjoying the opener.

Brandon Moss hit his first major league home run on his first opening day. Word is that Mike Lowell called it.  The last time I remember a rookie hitting his first home run on opening day I was at the game at Fenway, that of course would have been Tony Conigliaro!  I'm sure there have been more since then, but none so memorable to me.

Okay, almost game time, could we win a little earlier in the game today, I have a staff meeting.

I am at work and it's almost game time ( 5:45) so I will just have to set my computer to MLB.com and watch it that way.  It worked yesterday.
